We are delighted to announce that we have signed a contract for the design of a 12-kilometre section of the S52 expressway, “Kalwaria Wschód (excluding the junction) – Głogoczów (including the junction)”, which is 12 km long. This is one of six sections of the Beskid Integration Road – a project that will connect Bielsko-Biała and the towns along the DK52 with the DK7 in Głogoczów.
The agreement was signed by:
- Maciej Ostrowski, Director of the Kraków branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA)
- Maciej Durski, Chairman of the Management Board of Lafrentz Group
What can we expect from this project?
- A project for a new dual-carriageway expressway, which will relieve congestion on the existing DK52 and improve road safety.
- Three junctions: Sułkowice, Skawina and Głogoczów.
- 8 flyovers, 22 bridges and viaducts along the main road and service roads, and 3 viaducts over the expressway – all designed to ensure that local traffic and the new infrastructure coexist seamlessly.
